QUALIFICATIONS
P.Eng in Ontario (PEO) with track/railway engineering experience
5–15+ yrs track design, standards compliance, and constructability support
Experience with alignment, turnouts, trackwork details, and interfaces with civil/structures
Familiarity with staging, possession planning constraints, and construction sequencing
Strong coordination skills with signals, traction power, and station/facility interfaces
Asset(s): PMP
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop/review track designs (alignment, trackwork, materials, details) per standards
Coordinate interfaces with civil, structures, drainage, crossings, and systems
Support constructability reviews, staging strategies, and schedule-driven design decisions
Provide construction-phase engineering support, RFIs, and field issue resolution
Support testing/acceptance and closeout documentation including as-builts
Maintain QA/QC and traceable records for design decisions
