QUALIFICATIONS
P.Eng in Ontario (PEO) – Electrical Engineering
5–15+ yrs in power distribution, lighting, grounding/bonding, protection, and controls interfaces
Familiarity with applicable electrical codes/utility requirements and commissioning practices
Experience producing single lines, layouts, calculations, and specifications
Ability to coordinate electrical interfaces with systems, telecom, and mechanical disciplines
Asset(s): PMP
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop/review electrical designs: power distribution, lighting, grounding, protection, and controls
Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders for requirements, approvals, and energization
Prepare design deliverables: drawings, calculations, specs, and equipment schedules
Support commissioning/testing requirements and turnover documentation
Provide construction-phase support: submittal reviews, RFIs, field issue resolution
Ensure QA/QC, compliance, and traceability of design decisions
