QUALIFICATIONS
Degree/diploma in quantity surveying, engineering, construction management, or related.
8–20+ years estimating/QS experience across vertical and/or horizontal projects (buildings, infrastructure, utilities, industrial).
Strong basis-of-estimate development, measurement, pricing, benchmarking, and cost modelling.
Proficiency with estimating tools and advanced Excel modelling; strong reporting capability.
Assets: PQS/MRICS, P.Eng., PMP, CICCM, MCIArb.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce estimates (ROM to definitive) and document assumptions, exclusions, risks, and pricing basis.
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, unit rates, and cost build-ups aligned to scope definition.
Support procurement: tender analysis, bid leveling, clarifications, and recommendation narratives.
Support change valuation, progress measurement, and cost substantiation as applicable.
Maintain benchmarking and market intelligence to enhance estimating accuracy and strategy.
Provide inputs into contingency and cost risk in coordination with risk and controls functions.
