QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in engineering, finance, QS, construction management, or related (or equivalent experience).
8–15+ years cost control experience across capital projects (buildings, infrastructure, utilities, industrial, digital). - Strong budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, variance analysis, and performance measurement experience.
Advanced Excel and reporting/dashboards capability; familiarity with cost systems.
Assets: PMP, EVP.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish cost control processes (coding structures, baselines, approvals, cost change integration).
Lead forecasting cycles and variance analysis; provide clear explanations and corrective action recommendations.
Track commitments, actuals, accruals, and contingency usage; maintain transparency of cost drivers.
Maintain earned value/progress performance metrics where applicable and align to schedule updates.
Support commercial teams with cost substantiation for changes/claims and negotiation support.
Produce leadership reporting packs and maintain audit-ready cost records and traceability.
